Jens Gold G Hawk has his first Excellent daughter in the UK, she is Bickfield Olivia 26, bred and owned by the Durbin family and shown for them by the Sales family. She is the 2009 North Somerset Show Champion and the 2009 Royal Bath & West Show Reserve Champion, there are 7 other VG daughters of Hawk in the 50 first crop daughters (26 Classified), but there are another 50 daughters from his second use yet to calve and Cadbury Hawks Pretty 86 has won on every outing this summer.

The above link appeared in my in-box this morning and I thought I should pass on the Good News. The Unpasteurised Guernsey milk will most likely be from David Paull's Hurdlebrook Guernsey herd at Babcary Somerset which he takes to London to the Notting Hill Farmers Market every Saturday morning.

Other markets that David supplies are listed on his website www.hurdlebrook.co.uk and other Guernsey milk suppliers are listed on the Guernsey Milk site.

I forwarded the above link to David Paull who confirmed that he does supply the milk to the gentleman mentioned in the above article and added the comment

" I wonder if that is why I am so tired in the morning! "
