UK Guernsey Cattle

The 2010 Devon Show saw 16 Guernseys forward from 5 Exhibitors with Rosemary Charman as Judge.

Class 1 Maiden Heifer born after 1st April 2009

Four entries were headed by Aber Showtime Dancer 5 making her showring debut for the ARC-Addington Trust and it was good to see Ian Bell and Laura Dickinson from ARC on the ringside, in second place was Jon White's Kingwell Atlantic Portago and Jon also had the third place heifer Kingwell May's Perpetua.

Class 2 Maiden Heifer born between Oct 08 and March 09.

Two entries saw another win for Jon White with Kingwell HP Rums Savoye and the Greenslade's Greensfield May Kings Gladioli in second place.

Class 3 Heifer in Calf

Five entries saw Greensfield Mozi Seagull in first place with the Adam's Chiddingstone Cassidy Margaret second, whilst John Mark's and M Tolchard's St Senara Citrine in third place.

Class 4 Cow in Calf

Greensfield Hero's Glade was placed first with Kingwell Monts Pointer in second place.

Class 5 Heifer in Milk

In first place was the Iceberg daughter Greensfield Icy Lady whose dam Greensfield Pink Lady had been a Devon Champion in previous years.

Class 6 Junior Cow in Milk

Two entries were led by Greensfield Hero Star who had been a serial winner of Calf Classes including the inaugural All Cornwall Calf Show with Kingwell HP Ice Plum second.

Class 7 Senior Cow

In first place was Greensfield Mozart Anne.

The Championship was awarded to Greensfield Icy Lady with Greensfield Heros Star as reserve.
